According to donor notes :"Axe: the axe head was found at the mouth of the river Blythe in Australia. It is considered older than the shaft. The axe head was later added to the more contemporary shaft by an aboriginal artist from the Djinang tribe." Donor purchased ca. 1974 and donated to Luther College 2004.
