Marks/Labels:
On the front of the base is a paper label with "Indian Lady going to bring water" with the label slightly too long for the base, so that the "er" of water goes onto the side. Label appears to have been typewritten.
On the bottom of the base is "Ind.85" in red ink with a red diagonal line through it.
