Description:
Viewing available upon request. Drawing depicts two people removing clothing in order to swim across the Mekong River. Poem and drawing authored by same person and reflects sadness about missing his friend. Many people did not survive crossing the river from Laos into Thailand, this drawing and poem reflect this experience. Drawing dated to December 1982 and was made on the cardboard backing of a Decorah calendar.
