Provenance of Object:
Object was presumably made in Krishnanagar and sold in Calcutta, West Bengal to George Winthrop Mackintire. Upon his return to the USA, he donated the object to the EcoTarium (then the Worchester Lyceum of Natural History). Recently deaccessioned, the object came to Luther College and was accessioned into the Anthropology Collection.
