Provenance of Object:
The apron was made in Decorah, Iowa by a Hmong family. Esther Miller either received the apron as a gift or bought it from the Hmong family. She lived in Decorah, Iowa so the apron stayed in the area. The apron was later acquired by Marilyn Anderson, who also lives in Decorah, Iowa meaning the apron has stayed in Decorah, Iowa.

Description:
This is a full-length apron made with red, lavender, green, and brown cotton cloth and green and yellow embroidery thread. The apron includes a reverse applique design of snail and seed motifs on the pockets and upper portion of the apron.
