Provenance of Object:
The apron was made in Decorah, Iowa by a Hmong family. Esther Miller either received the apron as a gift or bought it from the Hmong family. She lived in Decorah, Iowa so the apron stayed in the area. The apron was later acquired by Marilyn Anderson, who also lives in Decorah, Iowa meaning the apron has stayed in Decorah, Iowa.

This is a skirt apron made with periwinkle blue, pale blue, and white cotton cloth and pink, blue, and white embroidery thread. The apron includes pockets with applique maze motifs and embroidered flower motifs.
