Provenance of Object:
The pandau was made in Decorah, IA by a Hmong woman in the late 1970s early 1980s. It was sold and purchased at Decorah's Nordic Fest. Janet Pinch brought it with her to Nevada and then sent it to Luther College Anthropology Lab in the mail.

Description:
This is a larger square reverse applique pandau made with blue and gray cloth. The motifs include hearts, snails, and embroidered flowers. In the center 4 hearts combine to create an elephants foot motif.
