Description:
This pandau is handmade from the early 1980s. The center snail motif symbolizes family in the Hmong culture. The small detailed yellow stitching is seeds and the white steps in the center and corners of the motif are called quarter rickrack and they are decorative as well as the yellow flower stitches in their center.
