Description:
Beaded necklace with beaded, fringed pendant. This pendant was purchased on a J-Term in Florida on a Seminole Reservation but it was created in the style of the Sioux, Lakota, or Dakota tribes. This is because of larger publications that printed patterns and shared them with a larger audience. These patterns were once tribe-specific but because of these magazines they were spread much further. On the Seminole Reservation, this style of necklace was made by children to sell to tourists
