Description:
This pandau is handmade from the early 1980s. It features a peacock ocellus motif stitch design in four places chain stitched in yellow thread. The orange and green triangles are sewn using a technique called satin stitching and they are representative of seeds. The large print backing fabric tells that this piece was most likely a practice pandau or that it was made using scrap fabric.
